Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has admitted his team could not deal with Everton’s physicality as they played out a 3-3 draw on Monday night.

Jeremy Doku gave the visitors the lead in the first half, before the Toffees rallied back after the break.
Thierno Barry came off the bench to make it 1-1, before Jake O’Brien headed Everton in front.
Barry scored again, but Erling Haaland and Doku salvaged a draw at the Hill Dickinson.
Guardiola said: “We played an outstanding first half. It was so difficult with their physicality.
“Second half, they made a step up. We didn’t have as much control and we gave away the goal. After that they come back and make a proper English game, so aggressive in the duels.

“But in general, we made a really good performance.
“Everton away is always difficult and I give credit to them for their composure and aggression.”
