Former Newcastle United goalkeeper, Shaka Hislop, has named Chelsea winger Mykhaylo Mudryk as the Premier League’s flop of the year.
Mudryk moved to Stamford Bridge from Shakhtar Donetsk during the January transfer window.
The Ukrainian is yet to score a goal for Chelsea so far this season and has failed to gain a foothold in manager Graham Potter’s starting XI.
When asked to name his Premier League flop of the year, Hislop told ESPN (h/t The Chelsea Chronicle): “Because he’s (Mudryk) been awful.
“He cost 100 million and you can’t get in the starting line-up.”
Mudryk’s contract with Chelsea will expire in the summer of 2031.
