Former Senegalese forward, Demba Ba has hailed his countryman at Chelsea, Nicolas Jackson.
This was following Jackson’s brace in Chelsea’s 5-0 mauling of West Ham United on Sunday.
The brace meant that the Senegalese striker has scored 16 goals across all competitions in 41 appearances this season.
Jackson, 22, has been criticised by the Blues fans following his recent underwhelming performances.
Reposting a post on X, Ba stated that people’s perception of the player has changed since his brace for Chelsea against West Ham.
Ba wrote, “Football is crazy. Nicolas Jackson was a doubt in people’s minds after missing a couple chances in a game a few weeks ago.
“All of a sudden he became a great footballer/goalscorer. Keep doing your thing and shining my little brother.”
Cole Palmer, Conor Gallagher and Noni Madueke were other scorers for the Blues against West Ham.
