A HOME just meters away from Powerball winner Edwin Castro’s $25.5 million property in the Hollywood Hills was almost destroyed by a landslide, new aerial footage shows.
The U.S. Sun has obtained exclusive footage and images of the damaged and partially buried house.

It is situated above the famous Chateau Marmont Hotel in West Hollywood and close to Edwin’s luxury pad, which he bought following his $2.04 billion lottery win in November 2022.
He also lives next door to pop star Ariana Grande.
Local station KTLA 5 News first reported on the landslide stating that an “incoming storm has neighbors worried about more significant damage to come.”
The outlet claimed the property was undergoing renovations and the owner said he was just days away from moving his family in.
His neighbors delivered the shattering news on Wednesday evening.

Cell phone footage from a neighbor allegedly captured the moment the hillside above the house started to give way.
“The hill is giving, oh my gosh!” the neighbor can be heard saying in the video. “And it’s making all sorts of noises, like it’s cracking.”
Fire crews were called to the area after the rubble came down at about 5 pm as mud landed on the back of the property and slid through the patio door.
COSTLY DISASTER
The thick dirt also covered a part of the roof and the windows of the property, while landing on other areas of the outside of the home.
Another neighbor, David Marvisi, claimed the disastrous moment had caused around $500,000 worth of damage.
He said, “The house is about $50,000 in damage but he needs a shotcrete because his property starts from there and all the way to the end.”
City safety inspectors and geologists were inspecting the house and assessing the area, as neighbors say they are hoping officials will help with the cost of removing the debris and fixing the man’s home.
Marvisi, who has lived across the road for more than two decades, said it was the most severe landslide he’d seen in the area.
He claimed no insurance can cover the incident, adding, “You have to be very careful. You have to know what you’re getting into because Mother Nature can cost you some money.”

Castro released a statement to Powerball after his win saying, “As much as I am shocked and ecstatic to have won the Powerball drawing, the real winner is the California public school system.”
In California, public schools benefit from the state’s lottery and pulled in $156million thanks to Castro’s win.
Since then, he has been trying to stay under the radar, splash out up to $21,000 a week on 24/7 security for protection.
He was last seen in public picking up a Porsche believed to be valued at $400,000 at a body shop in Los Angeles earlier this month.
The 32-year-old, who now has an impressive vintage car collection, was seen smiling and shaking an associate’s hand before driving off in the white motor.
