Drake Gets Slammed For Linking With 50 Cent In Miami

OVO and G-rap Unit’s worlds may not have crossed yet, but their two leaders have a lot of respect for one another. Meanwhile, Drake and 50 Cent recently reunited at a Miami club where the latter performed on Saturday night (March 25).

Furthermore, this collaboration comes after the 6 God just teased new music on Instagram, which has fans anticipating another release soon. Unfortunately, many people are not pleased with this crossover at all. Several people are furious since the Canadian singer postponed his main performance at Lollapalooza Brazil in So Paulo on Sunday night (March 27), claiming production and sound concerns.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Drake is without members of his sound and production team, essential to the realization of the Lollapalooza show in Sao Paulo,” a statement on the festival’s official Instagram post read. “Drake was excited to perform for his fans in Brazil,” the statement added. “Unfortunately, this is beyond his control. Apologies.” What’s more is that this isn’t the first time that Drake’s recent Lollapalooza appearances in Latin America caused an uproar. Fans expressed disappointment and anger over his Lolla Argentina set, which while amazing during its run, was also short, late, and canceled its livestream just minutes before starting.

Still, a lot of fans already let that go, and now hyper-focused on the prospect of new music from Drake. Similarly, 50 fans eagerly await his next album, as he spoke on working with Dr. Dre, Eminem, and more. Not only that, but the hip-hop world got even more excited when he revealed he’s guesting on Nas and Hit-Boy’s King’s Disease IV.

Meanwhile, maybe Drake will never address his set issues with various Lollapalooza festivals in Latin America. Regardless, he’s the kind of artist that draws eyes for anything and everything he does, whether negative or positive. With that in mind, class actions lawsuits against Ticketmaster for overpriced Drake tickets might paint that tour in a negative light for some time.
