THE lawyer of an OnlyFans star accused of murdering her boyfriend has claimed that evidence they gathered from throwing knives at pigs will save her from conviction.
Courtney Clenney, 27, is charged with second-degree murder after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend Christian Obumseli to death at their apartment in Miami on April 3, 2022.

Two years after Obumseli’s death, the case is once again grabbing headlines in Lethally Blonde, a true crime series from Investigation Discovery.
The first episode featured Clenney’s case and was aired on March 25 on ID.
Since the episode was released, new bodycam footage, obtained by WPLG, shows the model covered in blood and begging paramedics to save the life of her boyfriend.
The model can be seen holding Obumseli saying, “Baby, baby, baby, wake up,” and, “No, no, no,” as police tell her to move away from her boyfriend.

“I am covered in his blood because I was trying to save him… I need him, he was my other half,” she told officers as paramedics tried to save Obuimseli’s life.
Clenney who was 26 at the time was charged with one count of second-degree murder in August 2022.
SELF DEFENSE
The influencer has maintained that she acted in self-defense, claiming Obumseli was regularly abusive.
Lethally Blonde showed footage from a four-hour police interview where Clenney claimed that Obumseli held her against a wall during an argument.
“He ended up pinning me against the wall and then I’m looking at my neck he’s choking me.,” she told cops.
“This happened twice before where I couldn’t breathe.”
After escaping his grip, the influencer claimed she grabbed the knife and warned her partner not to get any closer to her.
“I had no intention of using it,” she said, adding she ended up throwing the knife at Obumseli from 10 feet away, and the knife plunged into his chest.
Yet prosecutors allege Clenney was the aggressor in the relationship and that her frustration built to the point where she stabbed her boyfriend to death.
The medical examiner’s report of Obumseli’s death states that the 27-year-old was left with a stab wound that went three inches into his chest.
This injury, which caused Obumseli’s death, could not have been caused by Clenney throwing the knife from 10 feet away, according to the medical examiner.
Instead, it is claimed that the knife entered his chest in a downward stabbing motion.
It is this conclusion that Clenney’s attorney, Sabrina Puglisi, disputes.
Puglisi spoke exclusively with The U.S. Sun and claims to have evidence that contradicts the medical examiner’s report.
“I 100% believe the evidence supports that she was acting in self-defense on that day,” she said.
HOG HIDE
Puglisi said the defense team has conducted its own tests with a medical examiner and used an unusual technique to substantiate Clenney’s claims of throwing the knife.
“We’re not denying that she threw the knife, that that knife is what caused Christian’s death,” she explained.
However, according to Puglisi, the medical examiner’s claims that the knife could not have been thrown is “not true.”
“We hired a knife-throwing expert and we have done demonstrations on the closest thing you can find to the skin of a human,” the attorney explained.
Using the skin of a hog, the team has “done demonstrations” that prove “it absolutely can be done,” Puglisi said.
“I mean, even I threw the same knife from the distance and I was able to hit and get it into the animal. So it can be done.”
“We also have our own defense medical examiner who will testify that he believes that that is incorrect, that you absolutely could throw this knife and it could go into that depth,” she added.

“I 100% believe in Courtney, I 100% believe that she acted in self-defense.
“The evidence supports it and I’m very hopeful that a jury will also see her innocence.”
‘TOXIC RELATIONSHIP’
Puglisi also admitted that Clenney and Obumseli had a “toxic relationship” and that “they should not have been together.”
However, as the prosecution attempts to show Clenney as the sole aggressor, the influencer’s legal team is hoping to paint the true picture of their dysfunctional relationship.
So far, numerous video clips have been revealed showing Clenney shouting, screaming, and hitting Obumslei.
However, Obumseli “absolutely was [toxic] when he was physical with her,” Puglisi claimed.
“And his way of being physical he’s much larger than her and a strong guy.”
“What I think is really silent a lot of times is that Christian was an aggressor and his violence toward her was much more than anything she ever did to him.”
INSIDE THE COURTNEY CLENNEY CASE
Clenney and Obumseli met in 2020 and moved to Miami together in January 2022. Here are the key dates that you need to know:
July 2021: Clenney is arrested in Las Vegas for domestic battery on Obumseli.
March 2022: Clenney allegedly told friends that she no longer wanted to be with Obumseli, claiming he “is really not what you guys think he is,” Clenney’s friend Ara Borzorigan told Investigation Discovery.
The pair allegedly broke up for a few days, but Obumseli moved back into their Miami apartment on April 1, 2022.
April 2, 2022: Cops responded to a call about a disturbance and arrived to find that Clenney had kicked Obumseli out of their house and he allegedly tried to follow her into the elevator.
Clenney asks cops for a restraining order against Obumseli, claiming he stalks her. Obumseli later returns to the apartment and they seem to patch things up.
April 3, 2022: Clenney calls her mother at 4:43 pm and again at 4:49 pm during which her mother says she heard shouting and her daughter was telling Obumseli to leave the apartment.
At 4:57 pm Clenney called 911 after Obumseli was stabbed.
Cops arrive at 5:04 pm and find her “drenched in blood” according to comments made to ID and Obumseli is curled up on the floor, still alive.
Paramedics arrive and later he is declared dead. Clenney is interviewed by police and admits to causing the fatal injury.
April 4, 2022: A search warrant is issued for Clenney’s phone, emails, and other records.
August 4, 2022: Clenney charged with one count of second-degree murder.
August 9, 2022: Clenney is arrested in Hawaii where she had traveled to a rehab facility to recover from substance abuse and PTSD.
Discussing the upcoming trial, the attorney noted that the collective evidence that the defense will present to the court will prove her client’s innocence.
“We’ll be able to paint the picture and show what really truly this relationship was like and the events that took place on that day,” Puglisi said.
“In conjunction with our experts in the case,” the evidence given to the jury will argue Clenney’s case, Puglisi said.
Meanwhile, Obumseli’s family wants Clenney locked up for life.
No trial date has been set yet, though Puglisi and the defense team are hoping for a date in the fall of this year.
“These kinds of murder cases can take a very long time, years before they actually get to trial,” she explained.
