Champions League: He behaves like baby – Di Canio slams Arsenal star

Former Juventus and West Ham United striker, Paolo Di Canio has slammed Bukayo Saka, insisting that the Arsenal winger behaved like a baby during his side’s UEFA Champions League 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.

Di Canio said this while criticizing Saka over his penalty claim during Arsenal’s Champions League quarter-final first leg draw with Bayern at Emirates.

Recall that Saka had confronted Swedish referee, Glenn Nyberg at the final whistle after he was denied a late penalty following a collision with goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer inside Bayern Munich’s box.

His penalty claim has divided opinion.

However, Di Canio believes the referee made the right decision by not awarding Saka a penalty.

“He moves blatantly the leg towards Neuer, it’s never a penalty,” Di Canio told Sky Sport Italy.

“He didn’t behave as an experienced player. He behaved like a baby with no experience.”
