The Calgary Flames have made a roster move, announcing the promotion of forward Adam Klapka from the AHL’s Wranglers to their NHL squad.
Standing tall at 6-foot-8, Klapka has been a standout player for the Wranglers, ranking second in scoring among Czechia natives in the American Hockey League.
With an impressive stat line of 21 goals and 24 assists for a total of 45 points in 64 games, the 23-year-old winger has been on a career-high trajectory this season for the Wranglers.
Earlier in the current season, Klapka had the opportunity to make his NHL debut, appearing in four games for the Flames from January 20 to 27.
Having been signed as a free agent by the Calgary Flames in May of 2022, Klapka adds size and scoring potential to the team’s forward lineup.
