BELOVED Florida DJ Domino has died at age 61.
The musician, born Anthony Lini, died on Monday, Florida-based radio station 105.9 Sunny FM announced.

“We are still in shock, saddened to our core with the tragic passing of our dear friend Domino yesterday,” the radio station wrote in a Facebook post.
“Our hearts are broken and we pray that Zoe finds solace in the memories of her amazing father who lived only for her since the day she was born.
“The world lost a legend yesterday – a sweet, funny, bigger than life man and heaven is a lot louder and a lot brighter today.
“Domino would only talk about two things, Zoe and radio. No professional in any field was more dedicated to what he did than him.

“It wasn’t a job for Domino, it was his life. Watching Domino with Zoe was an inspiration on what fathers should be like and we admire the incredible dad he always was.
“I, your co-workers and your listeners will always carry you in our hearts always. Rest easy my friend.”
A cause of death was not immediately disclosed.
Lini spent more than four decades on the air at radio stations across the United States, getting his start in Colorado.
Before he became 105.9 Sunny FM’s weekday afternoon host, Lini built an impressive resume playing at radio stations in Dallas, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, Oklahoma, and Minneapolis.
Lini’s music inspiration came after going to see the movie American Graffiti as a child.
“I remember going to see the movie American Graffiti when I was a kid, seeing Wolf Man Jack rock the radio and telling my dad that when I grew up that’s what I wanted to be,” Lini described on his 105.9 Sunny FM profile.
‘CONTAGIOUS ENERGY’
Fans were stunned to learn about Lini’s death, with many saying they would miss his contagious energy.
“I am completely in shock,” one listener wrote on Facebook.
“I love listening to him on the way home. His energy was contagious and you’re right he lives for Zoe she was one lucky girl to have a dad like him.
“I hope that somewhere she can find peace my condolences to the 1059 Sunny FM.”
“His love for his daughter was so beautiful. He was always so proud and so inspired from all that she did to continue to make him do great in all he did… Rest in peace,” wrote another fan.
A third listener said, “He made every remote working with him an event!”
“An infectious energy that spread like wildfire and Zoe was never far from him during it all, truly a great part of time in radio and will forever be missed.”
