Adelabu, Obaseki, Kyari to grace Lagos awards

The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu; the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki; and the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Mele Kyari, among other dignitaries, will grace the maiden edition of Energy Times’ Awards.

According to a release by Energy Times’ Editorial Board Chairman, Yakubu Lawal, the award presentation will be held in Lagos, on Friday.

He stated that Adelabu, who will lead the Nigerian electricity supply industry to the occasion, will be the special guest.

He noted that the GCEO of the NNPCL would lead top Nigerian oil and gas players to the event and will receive the GCEO of the Year award and the Chairman of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, will be conferred with the Businessman of the Year award.

“MOMAS Electricity Meter Manufacturing Company will receive the Most Innovative Company of the Year award while ND Western will get the Indigenous Oil Company of the Year award.

“Heirs Energies will be conferred with the Emerging Energy Company of the Year award,” Lawal said.

He added that the awardees were carefully selected based on their contributions to the energy sector, positively impacting the economy and people’s lives.
