Transfer: Akpom joins Ipswich Town on permanent deal

Ipswich Town have announced Chuba Akpom has joined them on a permanent transfer, DAILY POST reports.

Akpom spent last season on loan at Portman Road from Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam.

The permanent move was triggered follow ing the Tractors promotion to the Premier League.

The 30-year-old has now penned a three-year contract with Ipswich Town until June 2029.

Akpom scored twice in 30 Championship appearances for Ipswich Town.

He was on the books of Ajax for three years following his arrival from Middlesbrough in 2023.
