Yul Edochie urges men to dump disrespectful partners

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has shared advice on how men should handle disrespect in marriage, calling on men to dump any woman who disrespects them as husband

In his post on X, the actor described respect as something men are entitled to in marriage, encouraging men not to remain in relationships where they feel disrespected.

“Your respect as a man is non negotiable.”

Addressing men directly, he added that staying in such relationships is not necessary and suggested they move on.

“Men stop tolerating nonsense in the name of marriage or relationship. If your wife or girlfriend doesn’t respect you, dump her immediately and get someone who respects you”.

The post has drawn reactions online, with many linking his comments to his situation with his estranged wife, May Edochie.

In April 2022, Yul announced Actress Judy Austin as his second wife while still married to May.

In 2023, May accused him of bigamy and filed for divorce, citing adultery whilealso demanding N100 million in damages from Judy.
