35-year-old man allegedly r@pes five-year-old girl in Abia

A 5-year-old girl is in a critical condition at a hospital in Abia State after she was allegedly r@ped by a 35-year-old man.

A Facebook user, Uwaoma Chiagozie, who disclosed this in a post on Wednesday, June 24, 2025 said the assault left the child with severe injuries that required stitches.

Uwaoma said the child also suffered blood loss, adding that she was a bit stable by 9:00 pm. 

Uwaoma further advised landlords to ensure tenants provide valid me ans of identification.

According to her, the suspect, who hails from Akwa Ibom, squats with another tenant in the compound. 

“As a landlord, have the details of your tenant, check up on your tenants building, have a lawyer to back the documents up, have their pictures, bank details, ID cards and other identification means,” she wrote 

 

“If they decide to squat anyone, have every damn person details or they should leave your property.

 

“Na who them squat r@pe person wey dey 5 years oooooo. Shey una dey see am ba? Watch your environment too.

 

“Baby girl said he has been putting finger in her puna but she was scared to talk.”
