2027: Enebi Hon Martins Joins House of Assembly Race, Pledges to Unlock Omala Potentials

Hon. Enebi Martins has declared his intention to vie for the Omala state constituency seat in the Kogi State House of Assembly.

At an official declaration event on Wednesday, Enebi commended previous and current representatives of Omala for efforts made on behalf of the people and promised to consolidate on past gains to move the constituency faster toward its aspirations with new energy, fresh ideas and strategic representation.

He reaffirmed his commitment to economic advancement, stressing again that transformational projects such as the Bagana–Guto Bridge remain critical to unlocking Omala’s development potential.

Hon. Martins Enebi made it clear that his aspiration is not borne out of a belief that former Assembly members from Omala LGA failed or are failing, but rather from a sincere conviction that leadership is a continuum and development must be advanced from one level to another.

According to him, he seeks to take up from where others have stopped and help hasten development at a time when the expectations of the people are high and the demands for responsive representation have become greater.

Enebi, who is vying under the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform, reiterated his vision for a representation that will prioritize the grassroots, strengthen party structures, make the constituency office functional and responsive, support party officials, and ensure that the concerns of ordinary people receive serious attention.

He also pledged to align his vision with all those who genuinely believe in the progress of Omala LGA, noting that development can only be accelerated through partnership, shared purpose and inclusive leadership.

“This is not about replacing a legacy, but expanding it; not about criticizing past efforts, but building upon them for greater results. That is the spirit of mature leadership. That is the language of unity. That is the promise of purposeful representation.

“I stand for continuity with innovation, respect with vision, and representation with results,” he added.
