Local hunters in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi state have apologised to the Council Chairman, Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim over the controversy generated over welfare issues.

Members and leaders of the local hunters also apologised to the council treasurer, Hajia Habiba, over an earlier report that accused her of denying them their emoluments.
They confirmed that having seen and scrutinized the bank statements, it was discovered that the council chairman and treasurer did no wrong.

They commended Governor Usman Ododo for prioritizing their welfare and his commitment to secured all communities in the state.
