U-20 World Cup: Four countries eliminated from competition

As of Saturday night, at least four countries have been eliminated from the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.

The four teams eliminated from the World Cup are Senegal, Dominican Republic, Guatemala and Fiji.

Senegal crashed out of the ongoing 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup after playing a 1-1 draw with Colombia in their final Group C stage fixture on Saturday.

Dominican Republic, on the other hand, lost 3-0 against Italy in their final Group D stage fixture.

Both countries have two (Senegal) and zero (Dominican Republic) points, respectively, from three group-stage matches.

They joined the likes of Guatemala and Fiji, who were eliminated from the competition on Friday.

Meanwhile, more countries will be eliminated from the group stage later today.

Iraq will face England, Tunisia will tackle Uruguay, Honduras will face France and South Korea will clash with Gambia.
