U-17 WWC: All countries in semi-final stage confirmed

All four countries that have qualified for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup semi-final have been confirmed.

This follows the conclusion of the semifinal fixtures on Monday.

DAILY POST reports that England defeated Japan 4-1 in a penalty shootout in the quarterfinal after the match ended in a 2-2 draw.

Spain had thrashed Ecuador 5-0 in the last eight yesterday, while North Korea defeated Poland 1-0.

The countries that have booked their place in the last four after the conclusion of the last eight are the United States, North Korea, England and Spain.

The semi-final fixtures will commence on Thursday.
