Manchester United winger Anthony Elenga has said that it was the right time to leave the club as he departed Old Trafford on Tuesday.
The winger has completed a permanent move to Nottingham Forest.
Forest confirmed the player’s transfer in a statement on their official website on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old signed a five-year contract after United and the Reds agreed a £15million deal.
Elenga took to Instagram to pen his goodbye to United fans.
The Sweden International also revealed that he left the club in order to have more time to play the game he loves so much.
After recounting all that he has been able to achieve at the club, Elanga added, “It is the right time now for the perfect next step in my career.
“I’m someone who lives for football and I need to be on the pitch every week doing what I love.”
