Transfer; Arsenal’s top target eager to join London rivals

Chelsea is close to hijacking the deal for Arsenal target Mohammed Kudus.

The Blues have reached out to Ajax to express their interest in signing the player.

The Ghana international is now close to agreeing personal terms with the Blues.

Dutch legend, Marco van Basten had recently said the Ghana forward is much better than Manchester United’s Antony.

Apart from Arsenal, Brighton is also interested in bringing the attacking midfielder to the Premier League.

The Athletic reports that Chelsea is ready to hijack the move.

Talks have already taken place with the player and his representative with Kudus eager to join the Blues.

Ajax is believed to have set a price tag of around £40 million for the 22-year-old.
