“The reality hasn’t totally dawned” – Faithia Williams emotional as she loses mother at the eve of her 55th birthday party

It is an emotional time for Nollywood actress Faithia Williams and her family as she loses mother.

The movie star, who turned 55 on February 5th, revealed that her mother died on the eve of her birthday party. She noted how her birthday was on Thursday, but she chose to have it on Sunday and while at it, her mother passed away.

Faithia said the reality of her passing hasn’t fully sunk in because she was her cheerleader, prayer warrior, best friend, and gist partner. She stated that whilst they have taken solace in Allah, she and her family have decided to keep things very private for now.

She added that the love and prayers will mean a lot to her and her siblings during this period.

“Dear friends, it was my 55th birthday on Thursday, February 5. However, I chose to have a party yesterday, Sunday.
Unbeknownst to me, my beloved mother died on the eve of my party, and the news was cruelly kept away from me.
The reality of her passing has not totally dawned on me because she was my cheerleader, prayer warrior, best friend, and gist partner wrapped in the invaluable gift of a mother.
Whilst I have taken solace in Allah (SWT), the Williams’ family has decided to keep things very private for now.
Your love and prayers will mean a lot to me and my siblings this period.
