Shaffy Bello, others in tears as May Edochie breaks down while speaking at an event in Qatar (Video)

May Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, recently left many women in tears as she spoke about her son’s death at an event.

The estranged daughter-in-law of Pete Edochie, who has been receiving support from Nigerians following her crashed marriage, was at a women’s network retreat, NHN Women Network Conference, in Doha, Qatar, where she had everyone emotional.

May spoke on the death of her first son, Kambilichukwu, while she was going through a public divorce, which left not only her but many women, including actress Shaffy Bello, in tears.

This isn’t the first time, May Edochie has broken down at an event. Back in May, she was seen emotionally sharing her struggles and sacrifices she made, which had all become in vain. She revealed that, at some point, the world had expected her to wallow in self-pity, but she had to pick herself back up.

It is no longer news that 2022 and 2023 wasn’t the best of years for May as she lost her husband to another woman and her first son, Kambilichukwu.

Recall that Yul married his colleague, Judy, which led to his crashed marriage with his wife and the mother of his four kids, May Edochie. Following his second marriage, May filed for divorce from him, demanding N100 million from Judy, and had also filed a restraining order denying him access to their former marital home and gotten full custody of the kids.

While her marriage was on the rocks, she lost her first son, Kambilichukwu. Speaking about his death, May described it as the most devastating and traumatic circumstance of her life, which left her in a state of resigning herself to fate with a meaningless and overwhelming feeling.

The estranged daughter-in-law of Pete Edochie, didn’t allow it weigh her down as she marked a new beginning, May stated that it is a new beginning for her, as she appreciated the public for their overwhelming love.
