A branch of the Dunamis church in Makurdi, Benue State, has collapsed during a church service, leading to the death of a pastor.
It was gathered that the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday.
Four individuals, including the deceased, were observing prayers at the church building when the tragic incident occurred.
But the other three worshippers escaped the wreckage.
Although the cause of the incident was still sketchy as of press time, the police public relations officer, Benue State Command, Anene Catherine, confirmed the incident.
“Only one person has been confirmed dead for now,” she said.
