Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, led an official delegation to visit the mother of Mohbad, a Nigerian singer who passed away on September 12.
Mohbad, who had left Marlin Music before his death, was rumored to have died from an ear infection.
He was laid to rest the following day, surrounded by grieving loved ones.
Since his passing, Nigerians have been mourning on social media channels and demanding a thorough investigation into the potential cause of his death.
Some individuals have been suspected by netizens, although there is no concrete evidence to support these suspicions.
To address these concerns, the Nigerian police have established a committee to conduct a thorough investigation, including an autopsy, to determine the cause of Mohbad’s death.
