Northern govs grace Daura son’s wedding

Distinguished guests gathered to celebrate the union of Ibrahim, son of the former Director General of the Department of State Services, Lawal Daura; as he tied the knot with his beloved bride, Bintu, who is a daughter of Sabo Nakudu, the former Senator who represented Jigawa Central, on Friday, February 9, 2024.

The joyous occasion took place at the Alfurqan Jumma’at Mosque in Kano.

Among the notable guests in attendance at the wedding were the governors of Kano State, Abba Yusuf;  Jigawa State, Umar Namadi; a former Senate President, Ahmad Lawan; a former governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, and the CEO of Max Air, Dahiru Mangal.

Earlier in the week, the couple had celebrated its traditional wedding; and it was a vibrant and colourful affair. The bride wore different stunning attires, and she radiated elegance in a white glittering gown as she made her way to her groom.

She later changed to an exquisite pink outfit that complemented her skin perfectly, while the groom looked dashing in a blue traditional attire paired with a wine-coloured cap.

Throughout the festivities, the couple shared countless endearing moments, exchanging smiles and heartfelt glances.

A particularly notable moment occurred when the bride walked down the aisle with her mother, who beamed with pride. Hand in hand, they approached the groom, exuding affection and joy.

The mother’s face lit up with a radiant smile, a testament to her happiness for her daughter.

Following the ceremony, the couple took pictures with their guests, capturing the love and warmth that filled the air.
