“My contract with DMW has been done since 4 years but we are still family” – Mayorkun

Afrobeats sensation, Emmanuel Adewale, popularly known as Mayorkun, has opened up on his relationship with DMW boss, Davido, although his contract is over.

While speaking on Arise News about his contract with DMW Records, Maryorkun disclosed that his contract with the music record label has been over for almost 4 years.

Mayorkun disclosed that although he is off the DMW record label, he is still close to Davido and sees him as family.

“My contract with DMW has been done for about 3 to 4 years, but I’m still with them. After this interview, the next person I will be seeing is Davido,” he said.

According to Mayorkun, his new project he is about to relase is not under the DMW record label but under song music. He also mentioned that he has been with Sony record label for 3 years after he left DMW.
