PSG forward, Kylian Mbappe, reacted angrily towards Terem Moffi after his goal celebration in front of the home fans sparked reactions from Les Parisens, PUNCH Sports Extra.
Moffi was almost unplayable in the encounter as he inspired OGC Nice to a memorable 3-2 victory against a tame Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes as Luis Enrique suffered his first defeat as manager of Les Parisiens.
The Nigerian striker didn’t see much of the ball in the game as has often been the case so far this season, however, he was efficient in his contribution.
Moffi, who has seven goal contributions in his last six games made three on the night, scoring the first and the third, while also setting up the second.
His second goal on the night at the Parc des Princes sparked wild celebrations, as celebrated his strike by taking off his jersey in front of an angry sect of PSG fans not to the taste of Les Parisens players and Kylian Mbappe in particular.
However, in a video posted on Get French Football News, Mbappe was seen annoyed with Moffi’s celebration as he approached the Nice striker when he returned from his goal celebration and uttered some words.
Mbappe had to be restrained by a couple of Nice players as he tried to make his way to Moffi, yelling at him the whole way.
Moffi looked somewhat stunned but stayed calm as Mbappe’s rant continued.
Mbappe would go on to grab a second but even his double could not save PSG as they suffered their first loss of the domestic campaign.
The win however saw Nice move ahead of them to second in the table with the Ligue 1 champions falling to third in the table.
The win was Nice’s second straight win, and Moffi now has three goals in the present campaign. Nice play high-flying Monaco next week, and Moffi will be looking to continue with his brilliant run.
