A Spanish judge has ordered former President of Spain Football flFederation (RFEF) Luis Rubiales not to get near female footballer Jenni Hermoso.

The order is coming from the court weeks after Rubiales was alleged to have forcefully kissed Hermoso.

Specifically, Rubiales was asked not to go close to the footballer up to 200 metres.

Earlier, the prosecutors asked for the restraining order as the national court in Madrid considered a criminal complaint of sexual assault and coercion.

Appearing in court for the first time, Rubiales denied sexually assaulting Ms Hermoso by kissing her on the lips after Spain’s Women World Cup win.

Ms Hermoso has insisted she did not consent to the kiss.

The former football Chief who resigned his position last week, appeared in a closed court session to deny two criminal offences.

Spain won the Women’s World Cup in Australia on August 20, but the team’s success has been overshadowed ever since by Rubiales’s actions during the celebrations after the final whistle.
