GPF Launches Grassroots EXCO Tour in Adamawa, Storms Gulak, Gella to Strengthen Structures, Champion Continuity of Gov Fintiri’s Reforms

The Gongola Peoples Forum (GPF), a prominent socio-cultural organization representing diverse ethnic groups across Adamawa State, has commenced an extensive tour of all Local Government Areas (LGAs) to establish and solidify its executive structures at the grassroots level.

‎The tour kicked off with a high-energy arrival at the Gulak meeting venue, where GPF leaders and members gathered to inaugurate the initiative.

The event marked the official beginning of the GPF’s EXCO tour, aimed at building robust local structures, mobilizing support, and reinforcing unity among the state’s minority ethnic communities.

‎In a seamless continuation, the delegation proceeded to the Gella in Mubi South, where attendance was described as excellent. Enthusiastic crowds welcomed the GPF team, signaling strong grassroots reception for the forum’s mission.

‎The core message resonating throughout the tour is a passionate call to sustain and build upon the transformative reforms initiated by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri. GPF has consistently applauded the governor’s bold strides in infrastructure development, education, healthcare, workers’ welfare—including the early implementation of the ₦70,000 minimum wage—and overall governance improvements that have repositioned Adamawa as a model of progress.

‎GPF leaders emphasized that the forum’s grassroots mobilization is designed to ensure these gains are protected and advanced, fostering inclusive development, cultural harmony, and economic prosperity for all indigenes of the former Gongola enclave and beyond.

‎”This tour is more than just organizational structuring—it’s a renewed commitment to speak with one voice for the progress of our state,” a GPF spokesperson noted during the Gella engagement.

“We are here to ensure that Governor Fintiri’s legacy of reforms continues to deliver dividends to every community, ward, and household.”

‎The LGA-wide tour is expected to cover all 21 local government areas in Adamawa State, with similar high-turnout events planned to expand GPF’s reach, promote unity among over 80 ethnic groups, and prepare for greater advocacy ahead of future political seasons.

‎As the Gongola Peoples Forum takes its message directly to the people, the tour underscores a growing momentum for sustained good governance and collective advancement in Adamawa State.
