The Tinubu Support Organisation in Ekiti State has urged President Bola Tinubu and Governor Biodun Oyebanji to consider its members for political appointments.
TSO State Director of Media and Publicity, Mr Abiodun Alonge, said the inputs of the organisation’s members across the 16 local government areas of the state contributed immensely to the electoral success of the All Progressives Congress, especially in Tinubu’s election.
Alonge, in a statement in Ado Ekiti on Sunday titled, ‘Consider our members for appointments,’ stated that TSO leaders rising from its weekly meeting said that their call was based on the role they played in galvanising support for Tinubu’s aspiration.
He said, “Appointing TSO members into political posts will not only boost the morale of members but will equally serve as a compensatory balm for them for the time and financial commitments which they fully exploited to work assiduously for Tinubu’s emergence as APC candidate and as well his election as president.”
The TSO leaders stated that the group comprised “experienced men and women of repute who can be exploited for the country’s growth and development if appointed into positions of authority.”
The TSO, which pledged support for the Oyebanji administration in Ekiti State, said, “We remain irrevocably committed to the success of both the Ekiti State Government and the Federal Government led by President Tinubu.”
