THE lawsuit against rapper and music producer Sean Combs has claimed that he blew up Kid Cudi’s car out of revenge over his fling with ex-girlfriend Cassie.
Famed R&B singer Cassie Ventura, 37, took legal action against Sean “Diddy” Combs, 54, on Thursday through the suit filed in Manhattan’s Federal District Court, where she accused him of rape and physical abuse.

Cassie claimed in the documents that Diddy abused her and controlled her for nearly 10 years through alleged drug plying, beatings, and forced sexual encounters with male prostitutes while the rapper watched and recorded, per Daily Mail.
Another focal point of the suit came when Cassie accused Diddy of blowing up fellow rapper and songwriter Kid Cudi’s car in February 2012.
Cudi started a relationship with Cassie after she and Diddy supposedly went through a “rough patch,” and the R&B artist claimed that Diddy destroyed the vehicle after discovering she was dating someone new.
Cassie and Diddy met in 2005 when she was 19 and he was 37 and dated for years, splitting for good in 2018.
Diddy allegedly sifted through Cassie’s phone and emails out of suspicion and found conversations between her and Cudi and became furious, according to her statements in the suit.
After the discovery, Diddy allegedly used a manual corkscrew and placed it between his knuckles, lunging at Cassie, but she escaped and went to stay with Cudi, per the suit.
Cassie continued to claim that she then returned to Diddy’s residence later, where he allegedly hit her multiple times and kicked her in the back as she attempted to run.
Around the time of Paris Fashion Week in 2012, Diddy allegedly informed Cassie that he planned to blow up Cudi’s car in a “jealous plot” and wanted him and his friends to be home to witness the explosion.
“Around that time, Kid Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway,” the lawsuit noted.
“Ms. Ventura was terrified, as she began to fully comprehend what Mr. Combs was both willing and able to do to those he believed had slighted him.”
The shocking filing also claimed that Diddy once picked up one of Cassie’s friends at her surprise 29th birthday party in August 2015 on the 17th floor of a hotel and dangled her over the balcony while intoxicated.
Further serious allegations of sex trafficking and rape were also detailed in the suit.
Cassie claimed in the documents that she was forced on several occasions to have sex with male prostitutes who would come to Diddy’s home, often in masks and costumes.
The R&B singer noted the alleged incidents as “horrific encounters” where she used drugs to disassociate herself from the situation.
The suit detailed one specific occasion where Diddy allegedly hired a man to come to the home for sexual acts with Cassie while he watched.
“Mr. Combs directed Ms. Ventura to perform sexual acts with this man while Mr. Combs watched them,” it read.
“He masturbated while he directed Ms. Ventura and the man to do specific sexual acts. The entire encounter lasted multiple days.”
In another similar instance at a hotel in March 2016, Cassie accused Diddy of paying off staff in the amount of $50,000 to delete security camera footage after he allegedly punched her in the eye.
Diddy allegedly insisted that the sexual encounters happened weekly at one point, telling Cassie it was “our thing” or “our secret” per the suit.
In September 2018, before their separation, Cassie also accused Diddy of raping her after a dinner when he allegedly forcibly removed her clothes “while she repeatedly said ‘no’ and tried to push him away.”
The lawsuit added that the culmination of alleged abuse resulted in “immense trauma endured over a decade with Mr Combs.”
Cassie is seeking damages in the case that were unspecified and filed the lawsuit under the Adult Survivors Act.
The act extends the period where citizens can legally file claims after the statute of limitations runs out.
“With the expiration of New York’s Adult Survivors Act fast approaching it became clear that this was an opportunity to speak up about the trauma I have experienced and that I will be recovering from for the rest of my life,” the suit read.
Ben Brafman, Diddy’s lawyer, also released a statement regarding Cassie’s suit, per Daily Mail.
“Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations,” Brafman said.
“For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail.”
He continued: “Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’s reputation and seeking a payday.”
Cassie’s attorney argued against Brafman’s comments in another statement.
“Mr. Combs offered Ms. Ventura eight figures to silence her and prevent the filing of this lawsuit,” the attorney claimed.
“She rejected his efforts and decided to give a voice to all women who suffer in silence. Ms. Ventura should be applauded for her bravery.”
In an update on the lawsuit on Friday, the NYPD said Diddy is not the subject of a criminal investigation, per TMZ on X, formerly Twitter.
Cassie married trainer Alex Fine after her relationship with Diddy ended, and the couple have two children together.
