Ballon d’Or: ‘I’m not joking’ – Andy Goldstein names player to win award

talkSPORT Drive host, Andy Goldstein has backed Chelsea star Cole Palmer to win the Ballon d’Or in the next three years.

Palmer has been impressive since joining Chelsea from Manchester City last summer.

The England international scored four goals as Enzo Maresca’s side defeated Brighton 4-2 in the Premier League at the weekend.

Speaking on his show, Goldstein said:
“I think he’s got an unbelievable future ahead of him.

“He will end up at Real Madrid, he will be one of England’s greatest ever players and he will win the Ballon d’Or.

“I’m not joking, he will win the Ballon d’Or in the next three years – mark my words, by the time he is 25.”
