Babaganaru seeks winning start at Akwa United

Newly appointed Akwa United head coach Mohammed Babaganaru will hope for a positive start with the club when they host Doma United in Uyo on Wednesday.

Babaganaru was appointed the Promise Keepers’ head coach two weeks ago.

The former Nigeria Premier Football League champions also head into the game in a boisterous mood having defeated Plateau United 2-1 in their last game.

The Uyo club are also unbeaten in their last three league games (two wins and one draw).

Akwa United occupy 17th position on the table with 31 points from 27 games.

Doma United are winless in their last 10 league games.
