Reactions have been trailing the death of a former Chief of Staff to President Goodluck Jonathan, Brig. Gen. Jones Arogbofa (retd.) as a former member of the state House of Assembly, Gbenga Omole described the death as shocking.

Arogbofa was said to have died on Saturday, but the details of the incident have not been revealed as of the time of filing this report
Omole, who is an indigene of Oka Akoko, the headquarters of the Akoko South-West Local Government Area of the state, said the incident was shocking.
He said, “The death of Brigadier Jones Arogbofa(rtd) is shocking and unbelievable because I never heard of him being sick or something.
“This is a huge loss to Okarufe, Ondo State and Nigeria in general. My heart goes out to his immediate family particularly Basorun Seinde Arogbofa who is the Asiwaju of Oka Akoko. I’m speechless right now.”
