“May we never waste our time gossiping” – Eniola Ajao breaks silence as film critic condemns her Cinema movies

Nollywood actress and producer Eniola Ajao has seemingly responded to film critic Tolu Fagbure.

The film critic, in an interview, said the actress and Itele have no business in the cinema.

In what seems like a reaction to his statement, Eniola, via her Instagram page, prayed that when others are succeeding and achieving great things in life, one should not waste his/hér time gossiping and neglecting one’s own purpose.

She declared that one should stay focused, work diligently, and let their life speak for them. Eniola made it clear that she is too guided to be distracted and to let her results do the talking.

Eniola Ajao isn’t the only one Fagbure spoke about. He sang the praises of Wumi Toriola, declaring her better and wiser than Funke Akindele, Mercy Aigbe, and Toyin Abraham.

Last year, Eniola expressed excitement at bagging an AMVCA nomination. She stated that the nomination was a big deal to her and expressed how happy she was that her work was receiving recognition.

2024 was a rough year for the movie star, who debuted her first Cinema movie, which was marked with controversy. The movie star earned tons of backlash after she declared Bobrisky, a Nigerian crossdresser, the Best Dressed Female at her movie premiere.

In an interview with Arise News TV, Eniola admitted that it was a deliberate action to pick Bobrisky as the winner as it was all a publicity stunt and marketing strategy to promote her movie. She noted how the crossdresser is a controversial person, hence her decision to award him the Best Dressed Female to generate more buzz for her project.

Undoing her wrongs, Ajao had awarded two attendees, Bose Alao and another as Best Dressed Female and had gifted the two women a million naira each.
