“I would die for you” – Simi celebrates daughter as she turns 6

Nigerian singer Simi is celebrating her daughter, Deja, as she turns 6.

On her Instagram story, she expressed disbelief at already having a 6-year-old, and promised to die, live, light the world, and burn it down for her daughter. She said Deja will never have to doubt the love she has for her, as it is the strongest, brightest, and most unconditional.

The singer, affirming her love for her mini me, said she is everything to her and her little bestie.

“I can’t believe I have a 6-year-old. My love, oh gosh, I love you. I would die for you, I will live for you, light the world up for you, burn it down for you.
You will never have to doubt my love for you, because it will always be the brightest, strongest, deepest, most unconditional love anyone in the universe will ever have for you.
I love you, my little Boogie. You mean everything to me, my little bestie.

Earlier this year, Simi shared a cute video of their daughter, Deja, reading a poem for Adekunle Gold on his birthday.

On Deja’s 5th birthday, she described her daughter as the little light of hers, with big energy, a big heart, and a big voice. The wife of Adekunle Gold affirmed that God must love her to have blessed her with her daughter and expressed pride in her mini-me, who is precious, special, and wonderful.

For her daughter’s fourth birthday, Simi shared a clip of her and her mini-me, revealing that sometimes she begs God to make more room in her heart because her love for Deja has it bursting all the seems. She described Deja as her light, heart, best friend, twin, joy, and beautiful little fireball.

Adekunle, on his part, counted the many ways he loved his daughter. The singer noted that he had been in love with her before her arrival and after, saying his heart couldn’t contain his love for her.

Adekunle Gold married Simi in 2019, and they welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Deja, in 2020.
