Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur Laura Ikeji isn’t letting her husband, Ogbonna Kanu’s, scandal affect her.

An AI blogger, Tolani Talks, had exposed her husband for allegedly having an affair with a 23-year-old woman who had just moved to Nigeria, and wanted a threésome with her friends.
The report claimed one of the friends recognised him and told her friend he was married to a public figure, showing her proof. When the lady confronted Ogbonna, he travelled and stopped responding, and when she tried reaching him again, she heard that he had died.
Following the rumours, Laura shared a post on Instagram promoting her brand, and as expected, Nigerians stormed her page demanding a statement on her husband’s latest rumour.
Quite unbothered with it, Laura shared a video of herself appreciating the supporters of her beauty brand.
“I know I do not say this alot, but I want to say Thank you so much to every single customer of Laura Beauty. I want to thank y’all and appreciate y’all. And for everyone who has contributed to this business and made the business what it is today. I say thank you. We see you and appreciate you”.

In 2024, the beauty influencer sparked separation rumours from her husband over her Christmas post. Laura shared family photos of her and her kids, excluding her husband. The younger sister of Linda Ikeji, in her caption, thanked God for her life and that of her kids, but failed to mention her husband.
Recall that Laura and Ogbonna tied the knot in holy matrimony at a traditional wedding that took place in her home town in Nkwerre LGA, of Imo state, in January, 2017.
In other news, the beauty entrepreneur slammed Nigerians over their lack of support for celebrity businesses. Referencing global celebrities like Rihanna, she noted that their fans’ support is why they are filthy rich, unlike in Nigeria. According to her, the lack of support is why many celebrity brands shut down after a few years.
A few weeks back, the beauty influencer had praised her elder sister, Linda Ikeji, noting that she had been a billionaire for almost 20 years, just from being in bed. The mother of three demanded a master class from her.
While joining the 2016 challenge, Laura had relived the past. Sharing some cute throwback photos, she noted that 2016 was her year, when she was on fire and everything aligned with her. She noted that year she got several endorsements, money, a house, got engaged, started her business, had a closet full of clothes, and became famous via Instagram.
