Gala insist on €150m for Osimhen

Galatasaray have placed a €150m valuation on Victor Osimhen as speculation over the striker’s future continues to grow across Europe, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

According to Spanish outlet Diario AS, Galatasaray’s stance on Victor Osimhen reflects both his importance to the club and their wider sporting strategy.

The Istanbul club reportedly view the Nigerian striker as a central figure in their long-term project, particularly given rising attention from elite clubs across the continent.

“Galatasaray have set a €150m asking price for Victor Osimhen as speculation continues over his future, with the Nigerian striker reaffirming his strong attachment to the Turkish club,” AS reported.

Interest in Victor Osimhen is understood to be widespread, with several leading European clubs tracking his situation closely.

“Osimhen’s performances have drawn attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus all monitoring his situation closely,” the Spanish outlet added.

The growing transfer talk has also been fuelled by external analysis, with FIFA-licensed agent Mithat Halis suggesting that Osimhen’s profile makes him particularly suited to Real Madrid’s current needs due to his versatility and all-round attacking qualities.

“Osimhen is a complete striker. He does not fit the classic number nine role, nor is he only a penalty-box striker. He is an all-round player; he can play with his back to goal, he can deal with tight defences, and he can also operate as a second striker,” Halis said as quoted by AS.

“He also contributes defensively. All these qualities point to the type of player Real Madrid need. The club have not had a centre-forward since Karim Benzema. They are forced to use Mbappé and Vinicius as forwards.”

“If they sign Osimhen, both will play in their natural positions as wingers and be more effective. He would be a very functional signing for Real Madrid. They should sign him.”

Despite the speculation, Osimhen has repeatedly expressed contentment at Galatasaray, insisting he feels fully settled in Istanbul and describing the club as a second home built on unity and mutual respect.

“Galatasaray is a real home for me. Here I have found a family, and my family also feels very comfortable. This club represents family, love, unity and respect. I thank God for bringing me together with Galatasaray,” Osimhen said, per AS.

The Nigerian striker also praised the club’s supporters, describing them as the most passionate he has experienced throughout his career due to their unwavering support both at matches and in his personal life.

“Everything here is on another level. Galatasaray fans show you their affection both at away matches and in your private life. They are the best supporters I have seen in my entire career,” he added.
