Mo Bimpe reacts to viral video of market woman rejoicing over the birth of her triplets

Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has reacted to a viral video of market women rejoicing over the birth of her twins.

Kemi Filani reported on Friday that the couple had announced the birth of their triplet boys. Lateef shared a video of Bimpe holding their ultrasound, saying that God had given him more than he had prayed for, as his wife is now a mother of three boys.

Following the news, a video went viral showing a group of market women celebrating the birth of their triplets. In the viral clip, the eldérly women were seen dancing excitedly in what appeared to be a market, singing Yoruba gospel songs in appreciation to God for the safe delivery of the babies.

The women, who were holding a crate of soft drinks while celebrating, were heard offering prayers and expressing gratitude on behalf of the actress, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, and her husband. The celebration is believed to be held somewhere in the South-West region of Nigeria.

Reacting to the video via her Instagram story, Bimpe who was emotional expressed excitement and called for the women to be identified. She said would like to host them at the triplets’ celebration.

“Find them for me! They need to attend our party,” she wrote.

Speaking out, the wife of Lateef noted how friends, family and even strangers are happy for them. She further noted that some are even crying, leaving her speechless. Bimpe said she was overwhelmed with love and happiness and appreciated them for it.

Following the birth of their children, the couple  had arrived in Nigeria with their triplets. In a viral video, the couple were captured holding their triplets at a Nigerian airport. According to reports online, the couple touched down earlier today, and were received at the airport by family members and close associates in a heartfelt welcome.

Bimpe, on her Instagram story, shared photos of Lateef with their triplets and another photo of herself with one of her triplets.

Last year, Bimpe had shared the vile comment a troll left on her page, mocking her for being unable to give birth. The troll called her a barren and wombless woman, and added that only God can repair her womb because it’s not than reconstruction.

Also, last year, year, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the talented actor recalled how he proposed to Bimpe on the phone and how she gets trolled online for not giving birth, but remains unfazed.

On New Year’s Day, Lateef told Bimpe that 2026 would be their best year. Lateef expressed gratitude to God for the journey so far and expressed hope for all that lies ahead.

On Valentine’s Day, Lateef shared loved-up photos of them, calling Mo his lady, his woman, and his wife. He stated that she is always on his mind, the first thought he carries into the day, and the reason his heart feels calm.

To celebrate the love season, he surprised her with a tray filled with food and other items. The comic actor had made a customised mug for her, turned their love story into a storybook, and bought new bags, clothes, and more.
