“How Uche Jombo settled the misunderstanding between another colleague and me” – Ruth Kadiri spills as she pours encomium on actress

Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri is singing the praises of her senior colleague, Uche Jombo.

Sharing a video of Jombo surprising her with a gift, Kadiri described her as her mother, noting how she has been there for her even before she became.

Ruth said Uche taught her how to be there for others and promised to love her forever and to cherish her. She also spoke about how she settled the misunderstanding between her and another colleague.

“My mother!!! You were there for me even before I became! You taught me how to be there for others.
I love you, and I’ll always cherish having you in my corner.
I remember when I had a misunderstanding with one of my productions with an artist. I felt I was in my right! You heard it. Called me to order, then told me to apologise. And on that day, with heaviness in my heart, I knelt and begged the actress for forgiveness. If @uchejombo said I was wrong, then I was wrong. I love you now and forever, and pls note I am still that girl you can always call to order”.

In other news, Kadiri was humbled after receiving recognition from YouTube as one of its four female creators. Kadiri said she never imagined it and expressed gratitude to her creator for the grace, gift, and growth.

Ruth Kadiri is undoubtedly leaving her footprint in Nollywood, especially in the area of filmmaking. In February, Nigerians praised Ruth for introducing new artists in her movies via her streaming platform on YouTube.

The filmmaker vowed to change the Nigerian cinema pattern with her movies. She spoke about how she often asked herself what would become of her brand without the promotional help from anyone, and vowed that many would watch her movie without being forced or compelled to do so.

Last year, Ruth had sent a message to film critics, telling them she wasn’t bothered by their analysis. She noted how she had gotten lots of criticisms from people complaining about how predictable her movies were, as she compared them to Hollywood, noting how Hollywood and other foreign movies are also predictable, yet people still watch them.
