Nollywood couple Adedimeji, Mo Bimpe silence critics with triplets

Social media was agog with goodwill messages after actor, Lateef Adedimeji, and his wife, Mo Bimpe, announced the birth of their triplets.

Adedimeji shared the news in a joint Instagram post with his wife, expressing gratitude and excitement over becoming parents.

“I’ve been quiet… not absent. I was building, protecting, and embracing the greatest blessing of my life.

“God gave me more than I prayed for, a woman who became a mother of three, and three kings to call my own. My world. My responsibility. My legacy. Alhamdulilah!” he wrote.

The announcement sparked jubilation online, with colleagues, fans and well-wishers flooding their comment section to celebrate the couple, who have long been admired for the bond they share both on and off screen.

The news also comes as a moment of triumph for the pair, especially Mo Bimpe, who had in the past faced repeated online criticism and insensitive comments over not having children shortly after marriage.

In August 2025, the actress publicly slammed an Instagram troll who mocked her over childbirth. She described trolls as frustrated people seeking attention and refused to let the negativity dim her joy.

The couple, who got married in December 2021, have often been subjected to speculation about when they would have children. Through it all, Lateef consistently stood by his wife, defending their privacy and making it clear that outsiders knew nothing about their plans as a family.
