Rapper, French Montana spends $200K on Chrome Hearts Jeans then realises he can’t wear it because of his religious beliefs

French Montana has sparked a debate on social media after revealing that he spent $200,000 on a pair of Chrome Hearts jeans only to realise he cannot wear it because of his religious beliefs.

The rapper is a Muslim and the jeans has cross patches on it, making him reluctant to wear it. 

He posted the denim on his Instagram Story and wrote in the caption: “200k for the jeans but istaghfar Allah I can’t wear them lol.”

The pair appears to be an extreme custom version of Chrome Hearts’ well-known cross patch denim. 

Chrome Hearts has built its identity around gothic motifs, with crosses and daggers symbols appearing across many of its products.
