The Sector Commander, Andrew Longkam, made this known in a statement on Thursday in Kaduna.
Mr Longkam said the diversion would take place on April 24 and 25, between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily.
According to the advisory, the affected section is located at DK825, Kwaranza village, where the highway intersects with the Kaduna–Kano rail line under construction.
He explained that only one lane of the dual carriageway would be open to traffic during the period to allow for the erection of railway bridge beams as part of the Kaduna–Kano Rail Modernisation Project.
He said adequate traffic control measures, including placement of caution signs, cones and diversion indicators, would be installed ahead of the affected area.
It added that FRSC patrol teams would be deployed to manage traffic flow and ensure safety of road users.

Mr Longkam advised motorists to plan their journeys ahead, avoid the route during peak hours where possible, and use alternative routes.
He also urged drivers to maintain safe speeds, keep adequate distance between vehicles, avoid overtaking near the diversion point, and comply with instructions from traffic officials.
“The FRSC apologised for any inconvenience caused by the temporary arrangement and appealed for patience and cooperation from the motoring public.
“It reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring safety and minimizing disruption during the construction period.
“Motorists were encouraged to contact the Kaduna Sector Command or Zaria Unit Command for assistance, or dial the national emergency toll-free line, 122, ” the statement added.
