EPL: We tried our best – Chalobah defends Chelsea teammates, disagrees with Rosenior’s criticism

Chelsea defender, Trevoh Chalobah, has defended the efforts of his teammates following their Premier League 3-0 defeat to Brighton on Tuesday.

Chalobah insisted that they tried their best against the Seagulls despite heavy criticism from their manager, Liam Rosenior.

Rosenior had claimed that only ‘three or four Chelsea players gave everything’ against the hosts at the Amex Stadium.

Speaking on the development, Chalobah told Sky Sports: “We tried our best, we worked on it throughout the week, but we got beaten today and we have to go again.”

Chelsea’s next match is against Leeds United in the FA Cup semi-final this weekend.
