But seconds later, Kai Havertz forced home the equalizer, following a Gianluigi Donnarumma error.

Erling Haaland finished off a fine team move to win the match for City, who move up to 67 points.

City will have the chance to go top of the table when they travel to Burnley on Wednesday.
