Currently, the Gunners are leading the league standings, holding a six-point advantage over the Cityzens, who have a game in hand.

A loss for Arsenal today could result in their lead diminishing by the following weekend, as City is scheduled to play Burnley midweek.

Nevertheless, with six matches left in the season, even a draw might suffice for Arsenal to clinch the title.

Craig Burley, the former Chelsea midfielder, opines that Manchester City will secure the Premier League title if they triumph on Sunday.

He remarked on ESPN FC, “There is only one dressing room that will be filled with trepidation. City understands the significance of this match, undoubtedly.

“However, they are on an upward trajectory. They aim to conclude the season on a high note. The manager is likely to depart in the summer, Bernardo Silva has announced his exit, and they are in a strong position, with the music resonating in their dressing room.

“They have already claimed silverware and are in the FA Cup semi-final, while Arsenal is not, having been eliminated by Southampton.

“Currently, all the positive energy is with City. If they secure a victory in this match, I believe they will win the league. I sense a considerable anxiety within the Arsenal dressing room, and I reiterate, City can sense it too.

“The Arsenal players are aware that if this match turns out poorly for them and they suffer a defeat this weekend, there is a significant possibility that they will squander their opportunity.”

The Gunners have managed only one victory in their last five matches across all competitions, suffering three defeats and recording one draw.
