EPL: Paul Merson makes fresh title claim about Arsenal, Man City

Paul Merson, a former Arsenal player, has expressed a strong opinion regarding the Premier League title race between the Gunners and Manchester City.

Merson spoke after the Gunners extended their lead on the Premier League table to seven points ahead of Man City, thanks to a 4-0 victory against Leeds.

“Leeds United is a difficult place to go right now. They have been playing the best football of their season,” Merson said to Sky Sports.

“Arsenal’s 4-0 win over Leeds United won Arsenal the Premier League.

“Because even if Manchester City draw Tottenham Hotspur, they’ll still be 6 points behind Arsenal.”
